Principle of uv flatbed printer

2023-06-24

The principle of uv flatbed printer mainly includes three principles, respectively, the printing principle, the color principle, the imaging principle. The printing principle affects its printing range, the color principle affects the printing effect, the imaging principle affects the printing efficiency.

Printing principle:

The uv flatbed printer uses a piezoelectric inkjet printing principle, different from the thermal foam type, also different from the principle of screen printing, thermal transfer, pad printing, etc. It is controlled by the internal voltage of the nozzle ink, it will be ejected on the surface of the material to be printed. Therefore, there is no need for plate making, filming and color registering before printing.

Because there is no direct contact with the material, the form of spaced inkjet printing ink on the surface of the material, so broaden the scope of the material printing, no longer limited to a material, like the daily glass, tile, acrylic, metal, leather and other materials can be a machine printing.

Color principle:

The basic color scheme is C (cyan), M (product), Y (yellow), K (black), plus W (white), in addition to LC light cyan, LK light black, LLK light light black and spot color green, silver and other colors, according to the needs of the actual material printing pattern to match the appropriate color.

Used to the color software photoprint, Montaigne, RIP, etc., these three software functions are similar, are in the pattern printing before the editing process.

Which because of the role of white, to achieve two functions. One is the embossing effect, the use of white ink on the surface of the material stacked to form a high and low drop, and then printed on its surface in color. The other is printing colored patterns on a dark material with white ink laying on the bottom.

Imaging principle:

Imaging is through the UV ink in the photosensitive curing agent and led light irradiation out of the ultraviolet light waves to produce a chemical reaction to achieve drying, and not the traditional heat baking or natural drying. Due to the short reaction time, 3 seconds to achieve the pattern curing, then shorten the production time of the finished product.

But because the uv ink itself is matte nature, it leads to imaging patterns dark, not bright enough. For this situation, you can use uv varnish (varnish) form in the pattern of the surface dripping a layer of transparent liquid, to achieve a high brightness effect.
